NHAB BLIND AWARENESS WALK
2007

A hot, humid and clear June 2nd was the occasion of the Blind Awareness Walk for the NH Association for the Blind. Members of the Dog Guide Users of NH fielded a large team named “The Best Dog-Gone Team,” and sported hats specially designed for the group. The hats, tan cloth ball caps,on which the DGUNH’s distinctive logo had been embroidered, gave instant identification to each member of our team. Thanks to the generosity and support of PromoCentric, a promotional products company for the donation of the hats!

The Walk was great fun, with a great lunch provided by the Outback Restaurant and entertainment. A demonstration was also held with one of the new hybrid cars, in regard to crossing traffic and training the dogs to be aware of them since they make little or no noise.
